Dedicated to providing shelter and support for homeless individuals and families since 2020 In a compassionate effort to address the growing issue of homelessness in the tri-state area, CEO Shacora and her dedicated partner Henry embarked on a mission to provide shelter services for vulnerable men and women. Recognizing the urgent need for safe and supportive environments, they established a network of shelters that not only offer a place to sleep but also provide essential resources such as food, job training, and counseling. Their relentless commitment has transformed countless lives, empowering individuals to regain their independence and hope. Through collaborative partnerships with local organizations and volunteers, Shacora and Henry’s initiative continues to inspire and uplift the community, turning their vision of a more inclusive society into a reality. Mission-Caring Homes for the Homeless, inc. mission is to provide the highest quality transitional housing and mental health services to New York’s neediest and most vulnerable adults, families, and homeless veterans to ensure that their safety, permanency, and well-being leads to a life of stability and promise.
Vision-Caring Homes for the Homeless plans to assist thousands of homeless individuals who suffer with a mental health/medical/substance abuse and unemployment. We aim to assist homeless women, men and families find permanent housing, support groups: anger management groups, substance abuse groups, seek employment, and build up their career skills
